Setting up your clock radio
Connecting the power cord:

Make sure that your local AC power source matches the voltage shown
on the plate located on the AC power adapter. If it does not, consult
your dealer or service center.

Insert the small connector at the end of the AC power adapter cable into
the DC IN jack on the back of your clock radio.

Plug the other end of the power adapter into an AC power outlet.
Notes
:
Use only the supplied AC power adapter, which has the following
specifications: DC=12V 1.5A.
Unplug both the DC plug and the adapter when not in use.
The batteries are automatically disconnected when the AC power
adapter is used.
Turning your clock radio on and off:

Press
STANDBY/ON
to turn on your clock radio.

To completely turn off the clock radio, unplug the AC power adapter
from the AC power outlet.
Caution
: To protect your clock radio during thunderstorms, unplug the AC
adapter from the AC power outlet.
Installing and replacing the backup battery

Make sure the AC power adapter is connected, otherwise the time
setting may be lost during battery replacement.

Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit.

Insert the 2 AAA batteries (included). Make sure that the polarity
follows the direction printed inside the battery compartment.

Close the compartment cover.
Note
: Batteries must be installed in order for the time, alarm, and
memory back-up to operate. In the event of a power failure or
disconnection, if the battery is not installed, the clock and alarm will need
to be re-set when power is restored.
Caution
: When the battery indicator
appears in the display on
the LCD display, you need to replace the batteries to maintain the time,
alarm, and memory back-up.

Power button
Press to turn on the unit. Press again to return the unit to
(STANDBY/ON )
standby mode.

PRESET/MEM
In radio mode, press and release to tune to the next
preset station. Press and hold (more than two seconds)
to save the selected station as a preset.

SNOOZE/DIMMER
Press to temporarily turn off the alarm. When the power
is turned off, press to change the dimmer setting.
(The Dimmer function is available in any mode except
Alarm and Snooze.)

Press to begin playback when your iPod is connected
to the clock radio. Press again to pause playback.

CLOCK SET
Press to set the clock.

VOL -
Press to decrease the volume.

SLEEP
Press to set the sleep timer.

Connector with right speaker jack.

Improves reception of FM broadcasts.
