Using your clock radio Setting the clock To set the clock: 1 Press and hold the CLOCK SET button for approximately three seconds. The hour digit will flash on the display. 2 Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- button to set the current hour. 3 Press the CLOCK SET button to save the hour setting. The minute digit will flash on the display. 4 Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- button to set the minutes. 5 Press the CLOCK SET button again to save the minute setting. Note: If no button is pressed within 10 seconds, the radio returns to the previous operation mode automatically. Setting ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 (individually) To set the alarm: 1 Hold the ALARM 1 button for two seconds. The hour digit flashes. Press TUNE+/- until the desired hour is displayed. Remember to set the correct AM or PM. 2 Press the ALARM 1 button again. The minute digit flashes. Press TUNE+/- until the desired minute is displayed. 3 Press the ALARM 1 button again to exit the alarm setting mode or if you wait five seconds the display stops flashing to indicate the time is set. Note: You can press the ALARM 1 button at any time to review the alarm setting. 4 After you have set ALARM 1, press the ALARM 1 button again until the WAKE MODE icon ( ) appears on the LCD display to indicate the wake mode of your choice: iPod, radio, buzzer. Note: To wake to iPod, your iPod or iPhone must be properly docked in the unit, or the alarm will default to buzzer wake mode. 5 When the alarm is sounding, press the STANDBY/ON to turn the alarm off. The alarm will come on again in the next day at the same time. 6 To stop the alarm from coming on the next day, press the ALARM 1 button repeatedly until the ALARM ICON ( ) disappears from the LCD display, indicating the alarm is disarmed. Note: If the alarm sounds for 30 minutes continuously, it will automatically turn off and reset to come on again at the same time the next day. Using the snooze To use the snooze: • Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button on the unit when the alarm is sounding. The alarm will turn off temporarily and will turn on again in nine minutes. You may use this function until you turn the alarm off. Setting the sleep timer The sleep function automatically turns off your clock radio. To set the sleep timer: 1 Press the SLEEP button to select the sleep time. Options include 15, 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes, or OFF. 2 After the sleep time is selected, the zzZ icon will show on the LCD display. Choose "OFF" to cancel the sleep function. Adjusting the dimmer To set the backlight level: 1 Make sure the AC adapter is connected. 2 Press SNOOZE/DIMMER repeatedly to set the display backlight to a comfortable level. Listening to the radio Extend FM wire antenna fully for best FM reception (do not strip, alter, or attach to other antennas). To listen to the radio: 1 Press the STANDBY/ON button to turn the unit on. 2 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until the Radio icon ( on the LCD display. ) appears 3 Press TUNE - / I>I to tune to the desired station. 4 Press VOL- or VOL+ to adjust the volume. 5 To turn off the unit, press the STANDBY/ON button. 6 Press and hold the TUNE - / I>I button for more than two seconds, then release the button to start the FM radio station scan. Using the presets To use presets: 1 Press the STANDBY/ON button to turn the unit on. 2 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until the Radio icon appears on the LCD display. 3 Press TUNE - / I>I to tune in the desired station. 4 To save the station as a preset, press and hold the PRESET/MEM button for more than two seconds. "P01" blinks on the display. 5 Press TUNE - / I>I to select the preset number you want to designate for that station. 6 Press PRESET/MEM to confirm the setting. The station is stored in memory. 7 Repeat Steps 3 to 6 to store up to 20 FM presets. 8 To select a preset station, briefly press PRESET/MEM repeatedly until you reach the station you want. Connecting an iPod to your clock radio To connect an iPod to your clock radio: 1 Press the STANDBY/ON button on the unit to turn it on. 2 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until the iPod icon ( ) appears on the LCD display. 3 Turn on and play your iPod on the docking, make sure you have installed the correct iPod dock adapter in the iPod docking on the radio. 4 Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause play. Press again to resume play. 5 Press VOL- and VOL+ to adjust the system volume. 6 Press TUNE - / I>I on your clock radio to go to the next or previous track. 7 To turn off the unit, press the STANDBY/ON button. The iPhone/iPod will continue charging in the dock. Listening to a non-docking iPod or other audio devices If you are using an iPod without a docking port, MP3 player, or other portable audio device, you can play it through the AUX IN jack located on the back of unit. To listen to a non-docking iPod or other audio device: 1 Plug one end of the connection cable into the headphone or line-out jack on your MP3 device and the other end of the connection cable into the AUX jack located on the back of the clock radio. 2 Press the STANDBY/ON to turn the unit on. 3 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until the AUX icon ( ) appears on the LCD display. 4 Turn on and play your MP3 device. 5 Press VOL- and VOL+ to adjust the system volume. Note: You may need to adjust the volume on your MP3 device also. If a non-docking external music source is used with this clock radio, all playback controls must be done on the device (MP3, iPod, etc.) itself. 6 To turn off the unit, press the STANDBY/ON button. Note: You also need to turn off your MP3 device. Charging the iPod battery: To charge the iPod battery: • Make sure that you have installed the correct iPod dock adapter in the iPod dock on the radio, then insert the iPod. The battery charging indicator appears on the iPod display. Battery precautions 1 Use only the size and type of batteries specified. 2 When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect installation of batteries may cause damage to the unit. 3 Do not mix different types of batteries together (example, alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with new ones) 4 If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage. 5 Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak. 6 Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like. Caution: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. Using your clock radio
Setting the clock
To set the clock:
1
Press and hold the
CLOCK SET
button for approximately three seconds.
The hour digit will flash on the display.

Press the
TUNE+
or
TUNE-
button to set the current hour.

button to save the hour setting. The minute digit
will flash on the display.

Press the
TUNE+
or
TUNE-
button to set the minutes.

Press the
CLOCK SET
button again to save the minute setting.
Note
: If no button is pressed within 10 seconds, the radio returns to the
previous operation mode automatically.
Setting ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 (individually)
To set the alarm:

Hold the
ALARM 1
button for two seconds. The hour digit flashes. Press
TUNE+/-
until the desired hour is displayed. Remember to set the
correct AM or PM.

Press the
ALARM 1
button again. The minute digit flashes. Press
TUNE+/-
until the desired minute is displayed.

Press the
ALARM 1
button again to exit the alarm setting mode or if
you wait five seconds the display stops flashing to indicate the time is
set.
Note
: You can press the
ALARM 1
button at any time to review the
alarm setting.

After you have set
ALARM 1
, press the
ALARM 1
button again until the
WAKE MODE icon (
) appears on the LCD display to indicate
the wake mode of your choice: iPod, radio, buzzer.
Note
: To wake to iPod, your iPod or iPhone must be properly docked in
the unit, or the alarm will default to buzzer wake mode.

When the alarm is sounding, press the
STANDBY/ON
to turn the alarm
off. The alarm will come on again in the next day at the same time.

To stop the alarm from coming on the next day, press the
ALARM 1
button repeatedly until the ALARM ICON (
) disappears
from the LCD display, indicating the alarm is disarmed.
Note
: If the alarm sounds for 30 minutes continuously, it will automati-
cally turn off and reset to come on again at the same time the next day.
Using the snooze

icon will show on the LCD display.
Choose “OFF” to cancel the sleep function.
Adjusting the dimmer

Make sure the AC adapter is connected.

Listening to the radio

devices
If you are using an iPod without a docking port, MP3 player, or other portable
audio device, you can play it through the AUX IN jack located on the back of unit.
To listen to a non-docking iPod or other audio device:

Plug one end of the connection cable into the headphone or line-out jack on
your MP3 device and the other end of the connection cable into the AUX jack
located on the back of the clock radio.

Press the
STANDBY/ON
to turn the unit on.

on the LCD display.

Turn on and play your MP3 device.

to adjust the system volume.

: You may need to adjust the volume on your MP3 device also.
