Resetting settings to the factory defaults The factory reset function resets your camera to its factory default settings without deleting any captured photos or videos. Note The factory reset function can only be accessed when Simple mode is set to Off. To reset settings to the factory defaults: 1 Turn on your camera. 2 Slide the MODE switch to switch to Photo or Video mode. 3 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens. 4 Press / or / to select the (tools) tab. The Tools menu opens. 6 Press / or OK/DISP.
