The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a grounding plug which mates with standard grounding wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electric shock. Always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the outlet. • Do not, under any circumstances, damage the grounding prong of the plug. Any questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician. Using your ice maker Making ice CAUTIONS: • Fill the reservoir with drinking water only. • Change water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to make sure that it is fresh. If the unit isn't to be used for an extended period, drain the water and dry the water reservoir. • Do not pour water into the internal water tank under the ice basket, as this will negatively affect the performance of your ice maker.
