Setting parental control options To change the parental control settings: 1 Press MENU. The initial (Video) menu opens. (Only available in the U.S., where Open V-Chip ratings are available. • Change Password-Lets you change your parental control password. 6 Press MENU to exit a sub-menu, or press EXIT to close the menus and return to normal viewing. Setting program blocking Rating guidelines are provided by broadcasting stations. Most television programs and television movies can be blocked by TV rating or individual categories. Movies that have been shown in theaters or direct-to-video movies use the movie rating system (MPAA) only.
