2.1 Bluetooth Desktop Speaker System Playing from a Bluetooth device 1 Turn on your speaker system and Bluetooth device. Make sure that your speaker system and your Bluetooth device are paired. 2 On the Bluetooth device, select the content you want to play, then press the play button. 3 Use the controls on the Bluetooth device to control playback. Notes • If your speaker system is paired to a phone, the audio pauses when you make or received a call. • If the system has no sound output, make sure that the volume level of your Bluetooth device is not set too low or muted. Exiting sleep mode If your speaker system does not detect an audio signal for 15 minutes, it automatically enters sleep mode and the LED turns off. To exit sleep mode: • Press the Power/pairing button for about half a second. Troubleshooting Problem Solution No power • Make sure that the power cord is securely and correctly connected. • Make sure that the power outlet is working. Test the outlet by plugging a device, such as a lamp, into it. • Your speaker system may be in sleep mode. Press the Power/pairing button to wake your speaker system. No sound or low volume in Bluetooth mode • Turn up the volume on your speaker system. • Turn up the volume on your Bluetooth device. • Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not muted. No sound or low volume in AUX IN mode • Make sure that the 3.5mm stereo audio cable is firmly connected. See "Connecting a device using an audio cable" on page 5. • Turn up the volume on your speaker system. • Turn up the volume on your audio device. • Make sure that the connected audio device is not muted. Bluetooth connection cannot be established • Shorten the distance between your Bluetooth device and your speaker system. • Turn off your device, then turn it on again to clear the device name. Make the connection again. See "Pairing with a Bluetooth device" on page 6. • Make sure that your speaker system and Bluetooth device are both in pairing mode. • Make sure that your Bluetooth device supports the Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR A2DP protocol. • Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not connected to any other device. • Make sure that you have selected Insignia NS-PSB4521 on your Bluetooth device. My speaker system and my Bluetooth device keep unpairing • Shorten the distance between your Bluetooth device and your speaker system. • If battery charge level on your Bluetooth device is low, recharge the battery. www.insigniaproducts.com 7

Playing from a Bluetooth device

Turn on your speaker system and Bluetooth
device. Make sure that your speaker system and
your Bluetooth device are paired.

On the Bluetooth device, select the content you
want to play, then press the play button.

Use the controls on the Bluetooth device to
