3 Installing the Processor Fan Heatsink Base ✏ NOTE The following assembly operation should be performed after the desktop board is secured in the chassis. The board comes with the processor fan heatsink base. Follow the instructions below to install the base to the board. 1. Observe the precautions in "Before You Begin" on page 3. 2. The processor fan heatsink base is secured to the board with four pushpins. See the location of the processor fan heatsink base mounting holes in the following figure. OM12628 3. Installing the Processor Fan Heatsink Base

NOTE
The following assembly operation should be performed after the desktop
board is secured in the chassis.
The board comes with the processor fan heatsink base.
Follow the instructions
below to install the base to the board.
1.
Observe the precautions in

on page 3.
2.
The processor fan heatsink base is secured to the board with four pushpins.
See the location of the processor fan heatsink base mounting holes in the
following figure.
