Preface About this Manual Thank you for purchasing and using the Intel® Workstation Board S5000XVN. Multiple versions of the Intel® Workstation Board S5000XVN are available. This manual applies to workstation boards with the following product codes: • S5000XVNSATA • S5000XVNSATAR • S5000XVNSAS • S5000XVNSASR Where a feature varies from one product to the next, the difference will be noted in this document. Unless specified, features apply to all versions of the workstation board. This manual is written for system technicians who are responsible for troubleshooting, upgrading, and repairing this workstation board. This document provides a brief overview of the features of the board/chassis, a list of accessories or other components you may need, troubleshooting information, and instructions on how to add and replace components on the Intel® Workstation Board S5000XVN.
