Removing a Fixed Hard Disk Drive (SR2520SAF/ SR2520SAFR) 1. Remove the server system cover. 2. Remove the four screws that attach the hard drive cage to the server system (see letter "A" in the figure below) and remove the hard drive cage. 3. Remove the four screws that attach the hard drive to the drive cage. Remove the drive from the hard drive cage (see letter "B" in the figure below). Store the drive in an anti-static bag. Insert the screws that held the drive in the carrier into the screw locations on the hard drive cage for future use. 5. Using the four screws you removed in step 2, secure the hard drive cage into the server system. 6. Install the server system cover. For instructions, see "Installing the System Cover". 7. Removing a Fixed Hard Disk Drive (SR2520SAF/
SR2520SAFR)
1.
Remove the server system cover.
2.
Remove the four screws that attach the hard drive cage to the server system (see
letter “A” in the figure below) and remove the hard drive cage.
3.
Remove the four screws that attach the hard drive to the drive cage. Remove the
drive from the hard drive cage (see letter “B” in the figure below). Store the drive in
an anti-static bag.

4.
Insert the screws that held the drive in the carrier into the screw locations on the
hard drive cage for future use.
5.
Using the four screws you removed in step 2, secure the hard drive cage into the
server system.
6.
Install the server system cover. For instructions, see
“Installing the System Cover”
.
7.
Plug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable(s) into the server.
