Hardware Installation Select a PCI slot and align the Intel® Raid Controller SRCU41L PCI bus connector to the slot. Press down gently but firmly to ensure that the card is properly seated in the slot, as shown in Figure 3. Then screw the bracket into the computer chassis. Figure 3. Set target identifiers (TIDs) on the SCSI devices. Each device in a channel must have a unique TID. Provide unique TIDs for non-disk devices (CD-ROM or tapes), regardless of the channel where they are connected. The Intel® Raid Controller SRCU41L automatically occupies TID 7, which is the highest priority. The arbitration priority for a SCSI device depends on its TID. Table 2.
