Setting Network Parameters from the Printer Home - default ip

Page 6 highlights

Setting Network Parameters from the Printer Home Page You can change all network parameters by using your web browser to access the printer home page. To access the home page, you need the IP address of the printer. As a default setting, the printer is set to automatically receive an IP address from the network, but communication will only work if the network is also set to assign IP addresses automatically through DHCP or BOOTP. There are four different methods for setting the IP address of the printer. DHCP, BOOTP, and DHCP+BOOTP allows the server to assign the printer a temporary IP address, and also sets the netmask, default router and name server automatically. If the server neither supports DHCP nor BOOTP, or if you want to set a permanent IP address manually, you can use the MANUAL option. In this case, you also have to set the netmask, default router, and name server manually. If you have problems accessing the printer home page, use one of the other methods described in these instructions to set the printer network parameters. To access the printer home page 1 Use an Ethernet cable to connect the printer to your network. 2 Print test labels from startup (for help, see the EasyCoder PD41 Printer User's Guide (P/N 1-960652-xx)). The IP address of the printer is printed on the "Network settings" test label. 3 Enter the IP address in the address field of your web browser. The printer web page opens. 6 EasyLAN Ethernet Software Instructions

You can change all network parameters by using your web

option. In this case, you also have to set the netmask, default
router, and name server manually.
If you have problems accessing the printer home page, use one of
the other methods described in these instructions to set the
