Invacare® Homecare Beds Electrical WARNING! Risk Of Death, Injury, Or Damage Shock hazards and risk of fire exist due to use of improper extension cord and use of three prong adapters. - To avoid injury or product damage, when using an extension cord, use only a UL approved three prong extension cord having at least 16 AWG (American Wire Gauge) wire and the same or higher electrical rating as the product being connected. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this furnishing has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. - If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. - DO NOT change the plug in any way. WARNING! Risk Of Injury Or Damage To avoid product damage and personal injury: - Disconnect pendant when not in use and store out of reach of children. Grounding Information WARNING! Risk Of Injury or Damage To avoid injury or damage from improper grounding or using damaged parts: - DO NOT operate the product if the cord or outlet is damaged. - DO NOT operate the product if any motor has malfunctioned or is damaged in any manner. Risk of Product Damage Electronic equipment may be influenced by Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). - Caution should be exercised with regard to the use of portable communications equipment in the area around such equipment. - If RFI causes erratic behavior, unplug the product immediately.
