SECTION 3-SAFETY INSPECTION CAUTION As with any vehicle, the wheels and tires should be checked periodically for cracks and wear and should be replaced. ❑ Ensure the hand brakes do not interfere with the tires when rolling. Inspect/Adjust Periodically ❑ Ensure the transport chair rolls straight (no excessive drag or pull to one side). ❑ Inspect the seat and the back upholstery for rips or sagging. ❑ Ensure that there is no excessive side movement or binding when the rear wheels are lifted and spun. ❑ Ensure the wheel bearings are clean and free of moisture.
