Selecting a preset sound mode You can select a preset sound mode suitable to the music genre (c-EQ: custom equalizer). ENGLISH Preset value setting for each sound mode Sound mode USER ROCK CLASSIC POP HIP HOP JAZZ BAS (bass) 00 +03 +01 +04 +02 +02 Preset value TRE (treble) 00 +01 -02 +01 00 +03 LOUD (loudness) OFF ON OFF OFF ON OFF Adjusting the sound You can adjust the sound characteristics to your preference. 1 2 BASS *1 Adjust the bass. TREBLE *1 Adjust the treble. FADER *2 Adjust the front and rear speaker output balance. BALANCE Adjust the left and right speaker output balance. -06 to +06 -06 to +06 R06 to F06 L06 to R06 LOUD*1 (loudness) LOUD ON or Boost low and high frequencies to LOUD OFF produce a well-balanced sound at low volume level. VOL ADJ*3 (volume adjust) Adjust and store auto-adjustment volume level for each source, comparing to the FM volume level. -05 to +05; initial: 00 VOLUME Adjust the volume. 00 to 50 or 00 to 30*4 *1 When you adjust the bass, treble, or loudness, the adjustment you have made is stored for the currently selected sound mode (c-EQ) including "USER." *2 If you are using a two-speaker system, set the fader level to "00." *3 You cannot make an adjustment for FM. "FIX" appears. *4 Depending on the amplifier gain control setting. (See page 29 for details.) SETTINGS 27
