ENGLISH Indications Selectable settings, [reference page] TEL MUTING*1 Telephone muting MUTING 1/ MUTING 2: Select either one which mutes the sounds while using a cellular phone system. MUTING OFF: [Initial]; Cancels. • When "CD" or "CD-CH/IPOD" has been selected as the source, playback pauses during telephone muting. SCROLL*2 Scroll mode ONCE: [Initial]; Scrolls the information once. AUTO: Repeats scrolling (5-second intervals). OFF: Cancels. • Pressing DISP for more than one second can scroll the display regardless of the setting. SUB.W FREQ Subwoofer cutoff frequency EXT INPUT*3 External input TAG DISPLAY*2 Tag display LOW: Frequencies lower than 90 Hz are sent to the subwoofer. TAG ON: [Initial]; Shows the Tag information while playing MP3/WMA tracks, [13]. TAG OFF: Cancels. AMP GAIN Amplifier gain control You can change the maximum volume level of this unit. HIGH POWER: [Initial]; VOL 00 - VOL 50 LOW POWER: VOL 00 - VOL 30 (Select this if the maximum power of the speaker is less than 50 W to prevent them from being damaged.) OFF: Deactivates the built-in amplifier. IF BAND AUTO: Intermediate frequency band WIDE: [Initial]; Increases the tuner selectivity to reduce interference noises between the stations. (The stereo effect will be lost.) Subject to the interference noises from adjacent stations, but sound quality will not be degraded. (The stereo effect will not be lost.) AREA AREA US: Tuner channel interval AREA EU: AREA SA: [Initial]; When using the unit in North/Central/South America. The AM/FM intervals are set to 10 kHz/200 kHz. When using the unit in any other areas. The AM/FM intervals are set to 9 kHz/50 kHz (100 kHz during auto search). When using the unit in South American countries where the FM interval is 100 kHz. The AM interval is set to 10 kHz. SEARCH MODE Radio station search mode You can change radio station search mode operation using the 4 /¢ buttons.
