PLAY EN 33 To prohibit operations during Series Playback (Mode Lock) Press and hold OK on the remote control for more than 5 seconds. The Mode Lock indicator lights up on the front display panel (੬ pg. 66). The 2 cassettes will be played back alter- nately without any interruption. To resume the other operations, press and hold OK on the JOG SHATTLE remote control again for more than 5 seconds. CH STOP/EJECT Using two sets of SR-TS1U, you can play back two cassettes alternately as many times as you want. You can select the returning position for Series Playback (੬ pg. 28) Use the buttons and controls on the VCR's front panel for the Series Playback operations (except when using Mode Lock). 1 MAKE CONNECTIONS Connect two sets of SR-TS1U and a TV using AV cables as shown in the illustration on page 32. ● The mini-plug cable is a mono 3.5 mm mini-plug to mono 3.5 mm mini-plug connector. ● When playing back S-VHS recordings, it is recommended to use the S-VIDEO connection to minimize picture degradation. TURN ON ALL COMPONENTS 2 After completing the connections, turn on all the components. ● Set the TV to video input mode or A/V input mode. Refer to the TV instruction manual. 3 4 LOAD CASSETTES Insert the playback cassette into each SR-TS1U. ● Set SR-TS1U-2 to "AUX". Press CH 5∞ to select the input mode depending on the connector being used - "L-1" for the rear AUDIO/VIDEO IN connector, or "F1" for the front AUDIO/VIDEO IN connector. START PLAYBACK Press PLAY on either of SR-TS1U. When the playback reaches to the returning position (tape end or recording end ੬ pg. 28), the other SR-TS1U successively starts to play. (The cassette will automatically be rewound when the playback stops.) Therefore, the cassettes loaded on two SR-TS1U will be played back alternately as many times as you want. STOP PLAYBACK 5 Press STOP/EJECT on the SR-TS1U which is playing back a cassette.
