Adjust the focus in a bright environment. C One Push Auto Focus When [Execute] is clicked, the focus automatically adjusts. Either [Narrow Focus Range] or [Full Focus Range] can be used. After selecting one and pressing the [Execute] button, focus adjustment is carried out. When executed, the adjustment progress status is displayed as a percentage. Use this as a reference. Narrow Focus Range: Use this when the lens is almost focused. This will take up to 30 seconds. Full Focus Range: Use when Narrow Focus Range does not fit. The range is larger than that of Narrow Focus Range and the best focus position is sought. This will take several minutes to finish. When finished, the status will change to [Stop]. Check the focus with the Viewer. If any errors are displayed, check the shooting environment and perform the focus again. Note: ● Depending on the shooting environment (low contrast, low illumination, a moving subject, etc.), an error may be displayed, or the focus may not be set to the optimal position. ● If you perform shooting of a close subject by zooming the lens to the wide position or shooting of a far subject by zooming the lens to the tele position, the focus may not be set to the optimal position. (VN-H257U/ H257VPU/H157WPU) ● If the focus cannot be set to the optimal position using One Push Auto Focus, perform adjustments using manual focus. ● Do not open other pages and change settings while focus adjustment is in progress. Memo: ● The status percentage displayed does not indicate the actual amount of time remaining. ● The methods for focusing with Narrow Focus Range and Full Focus Range are different. Even if an error is displayed for the Narrow Focus Range, an error may not be displayed for the Full Focus Range. 82
