NOTE: Before you start operation; The VFP setting screen disappears if no operations are done for more than about 10 seconds. If the setting screen disappears before you finish, start from step 1 again. 1 Access the VFP setting menu. Press DVD PICTURE during playback. ● The current setting appears on the TV screen. NORMAL GAMMA 0 BRIGHTNESS 0 CONTRAST 0 SATURATION 0 TINT 0 SHARPNESS +3 EN 47 4 Select the parameter. Press rt repeatedly to select a parameter you want to adjust, then press ENTER. ● Adjust gradually and confirm picture appearance results are as preferred. GAMMA (-3 to +3): Controls brightness of neutral tints while maintaining brightness of dark and bright portions. BRIGHTNESS Controls screen brightness. (-8 to +8): CONTRAST (-7 to +7): Controls screen contrast. SATURATION Controls screen color depth. (-7 to +7): TINT (-7 to +7): Controls screen tint. SHARPNESS Controls screen sharpness. (-8 to +8): ● VFP menu disappears and the following pop-up window appears on the TV screen. 2 Select the VFP mode. Press w e repeatedly. ● Each time you press w e, the VFP mode changes as follows: NORMAL]CINEMA]USER 1]USER 2](Back to the beginning) NORMAL: CINEMA: USER 1/ USER 2: Select this normally. Suitable for movie. You can adjust parameters that affect picture appearance and store settings. Go to step 3. NOTE: You cannot adjust the parameters of "NORMAL" and "CINEMA". To adjust picture appearance manually 3 Access USER menu. Press w e repeatedly to select "USER 1" or "USER 2". USER 1 GAMMA 0 BRIGHTNESS 0 CONTRAST 0 SATURATION 0 TINT 0 SHARPNESS +3 GAMMA 0 GAMMA 0 ● The selection menu disappears automatically if you do not change the selection for 10 seconds. 5 Adjust the parameter. Press rt repeatedly to change the setting, then press ENTER. ● The current VFP settings appear again. 6 Adjust the other parameters. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to adjust other parameters. To return to the normal screen Press DVD PICTURE. To activate your setting Press DVD PICTURE, then press w e repeatedly to select "USER 1" or "USER 2" that you have changed the parameters. VFP function
— Adjusting the picture quality
The VFP (Video Fine Processor) function enables you to adjust
the picture character according to the type of programing,
picture tone or personal preference.
NOTE:
Before you start operation;
The VFP setting screen disappears if no operations are done for
more than about 10 seconds. If the setting screen disappears
before you finish, start from step
1

Access the VFP setting menu.

You cannot adjust the parameters of “NORMAL” and “CINEMA”.

repeatedly to select a parameter you want to
adjust, then press
ENTER

Adjust gradually and confirm picture appearance results are as
preferred.
VFP menu disappears and the following pop-up window
appears on the TV screen.
The selection menu disappears automatically if you do not
change the selection for 10 seconds.

Adjust the parameter.
