D 500 LCR D 500 LCR JAMO D 500 SERIES It was a natural step for Jamo to participate in the THX program from the very beginning, having nothing to fear from even the closest scrutiny and most rigorous testing of our products. Today, the Jamo D 500 surround system proudly wears the THX Select2 badge, confirming that Jamo D 500 has surpassed the strictest performance standards for use in rooms up to 75m3 (2,000 ft3) with a viewing distance of 3.0 - 3.6m (10 - 12 ft). Intended for wall-mounting, the Jamo D 500 range consists of the D 500 LCR for front channel use and surround back channel (optional) and the dipolar D 500 SUR for surround channels. Both models have been fine-tuned to deliver 54 music and movies with all the large-scale scope and grandeur of the real thing. Based on identical drivers, D 500 LCR (dual 5 ½" woofers, twin 3" midranges, and a 1" tweeter) and D 500 SUR (one 5 ½" woofer, dual 3" midranges and twin 1" tweeters) possess the same crystal-clear, ultra-transparent sonic signature to achieve the same level of effortless naturalness that the creators of your favourite films and music experienced in the studio.
