You may also turn off the freezer by pressing the UP arrow button until the display reads "10". With the display at Temperature Control 2 "10', press the Up Arrow button two more times within two Temperature Setting 2 seconds. The display will read "OF". Temperature Mode Change Quick Freeze 2 2 The freezer can be turned ON by pressing the DOWN Control Lockout 3 arrow button, with the display -1 O, two times within two Sabbath Mode 3 seconds. Continue by setting the control to the desired Manual Defrost 3 temperature. Alarm Functions 3 The freezer will not cool anything while it is in "OF" position. Temperature Alarm 3 The door light will continue to operate while in 'OF". Door Ajar Alarm 3 Power Failure 4 WARNING: The freezer still has electrical power System Errors Alarm 4 while in OF. Disconnect freezer from the outlet before Alarm Function Table 4 cleaning or moving it. TEMPERATURE SETTING The desired temperature inside the freezer can be set using the UP and DOWN arrow buttons on the control panel, located on the door of the freezer. Press either the UP or DOWN arrow buttons to change the temperature setting to one which suits your needs. The range of settings is -10°F to IO°F ( -24°C to -12°C ) (See Figures 1 and 2). Reset _¸I;¸¸ !i_Control; _i Lock Figure 1 Door Ajar Power Loss Hold For P/C Quick Freeze Temp Display / Figure 3 TEMPERATURE MODE CHANGE Temperature display can be changed from °F to °C to °F by pressing and holding the "Temp Display" button for five seconds. Press and hold the button again to change it back to the previous mode. QUICK FREEZE Quick Freeze enables the compressor to run continuously to help cool large quantities of warm (room temperature) foods faster. Always cool down hot foods to room temperature before placing them in the freezer. Use this feature just prior to adding large quantities of unfrozen foods (not to exceed 3 pounds per cubic foot of freezer space). For example, do not place more than 45 pounds of room temperature food into a 15 cubic foot freezer. To activate the Quick Freeze feature, push the Quick Freeze button. The control panel will beep once and the display will now read "-F-" for one second and the Quick Freeze LED illuminates indicating that the Quick Freeze cycle has begun. See Figure 4. Figure 2
