POWER FAILURE When power to the freezer is restored after the occurrence of a power failure, the "Power Loss" LED will be illuminated. If the internal temperature of the freezer has risen to a temperature greater than 23°F (-5°C), the "Hi Temp" display indicator will also be illuminated and there will be an audible beep every five seconds. Press the Alarm Reset button to turn the audible alarm (beep) off. If this condition persists, the "Duration" indicator will also be illuminated and the display will show how many hours (up to a period of 48) the internal temperature has been above 23°F (-5°C). Food quality is considered to be impaired at temperatures greater than 23°F (-5°C). It is left to the user's discretion to decide how to best manage the contents within the freezer. Display Status Cabinet temperature setting is displayed Alternating "E' and "7", "8" or "9" every half second Control panel beeps every 5 seconds. "Door Ajar" LED is lit. Control panel beeps every 5 seconds. "Hi Temp" LED is lit. "Power Loss" LED is illuminated. Function Normal operation Operational error Door Ajar Freezer temperature too high. A power failure occurred. Response None Contact service technician. Close door. Press Alarm Reset to mute audible alarm (beep). Contact service technician. Press Alarm Reset to mute audible alarm (beep). Press Alarm Reset button. Display off. Power failure Reconnect power supply. Figure 7 SYSTEM ERROR ALARMS If "E7", "E8", or "E9" are shown on the display every half second and the control panel beeps every five seconds, call service repair to correct the problem. Press the Alarm Reset button to turn the audible alarm (beep) off. Until changes are made, freezer will continue to run.
