WARNING Electrical Shock and Personal Injury Hazard Disconnect electrical supply before servicing or cleaning the unit. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury from vacuum cleaner suddenly starting. TO REMOVE BELT Lay cleaner fiat and flip cleaner to expose nozzle base.. To remove nozzle guard, slide lock A to unlock position, to the left. Then depress lock B to unlock nozzle guard. TO REPLACE BELT OR BRUSHROLL Place new belt in area of brushroll without bristles. Place brushroll shutoff pedal in "Carpet" position. Slide belt onto motor shaft. Ensure to loop the belt around the belt lifter shaff_ Rotate/pivot the nozzle guard and /, pull off f Lift and remove brushrolL Dispose of old belt. END CAP With new belt in place, \ putl and slide brushroll into nozzle making sure that the brushroll end caps are in the correct orientation (see diagram for end cap orientation)° Rotate brushrolt manually to make sure belt is properly aligned° # Secure by aligning tihnethtehrebease(3)sltoatbs.s To reattach nozzle _ uard, rotate/pivot back into position_ / To secure nozz[e guard, push lock B dSolidwen ltoocklocAk inptoositloiocnk° - position, to the right.
