Greasefire or continuousexcessive flamesabovecooking surface. •Damagedhose. •Mechanicalfailuredueto rustingor mishandling. • Failureof cylindervalve from mishandlingor mechanicalfailure. •Improperinstallation,connectionnot tight,failureof rubberseal. • Firein burnertube sectionof burnerdue to blockage. •Toomuchgreasebuildupin burnerarea. •Turnoff gas at LP cylinderor at sourceon naturalgassystems.If anythingis burned,replacevalve/hose/regulatorI.f burned, discontinueuseof productuntila plumberhas investigatedcause and correctionsare made. •ReplaceLP cylinder. •Turnoff LP cylindervalve.ReturnLP cylinderto gassupplier. •Turnoff LP cylindervalve.Removeregulatorfrom cylinderand visuallyinspectrubbersealfor damage.See LP CylinderLeakTest and ConnectingRegulatorto the LP Cylinder. •Turnoff controlknobsand LP cylindervalve.Leavelid opento allowflamesto die down.After fire is outand grill is cold,remove burnerand inspectfor spidernestsor rust.See Cleaningthe BurnerAssemblypages. •Turnoff control knobsand LP cylindervalve.Leavelid opento allowflamesto die down.After cooling,cleanfood particlesand excessgreasefrom insidefireboxarea,greasetray,and other surfaces. GASISSUES: •Tryingto lightwrongburner. • Burnernot engagedwith controlvalve. • Obstructionin burner. • Nogas flow. •Vaporlock at couplingnutto LP cylinder. • Couplingnut and LP cylindervalve not fully connected. ELECTRICALISSUES: • Electrodecrackedor broken;sparksat crack. •Electrodetip not in properposition. •Wireand/orelectrodecoveredwith cookingresidue. •Wiresare looseor disconnected. •Wiresare shorting(sparking)between ignitorand electrode. •Deadbattery. • Seeinstructionson control paneland in Useand Caresection. • Makesurevalvesare positionedinsideof burnertubes. • Ensureburnertubesare not obstructedwith spiderwebsor other matter.See cleaningsectionof Useand Care. • MakesureLP cylinderis not empty.If LP cylinderis notempty, referto "Suddendrop in gasflow." •Turnoff knobsand disconnectcouplingnut fromLP cylinder. Reconnectand retry. •Turnthe couplingnutapproximatelyone-halfto three-quarters additionalturn untilsolidstop.Tightenby handonly- do not use tools. • Replaceelectrode(s). MainBurners: •Tip of electrodeshouldbe pointingtowardgasport openingon burner.The distanceshouldbe 1/8"to 1/4".Adjust if necessary. Sideburner: •Tip of electrodeshouldbe pointingtowardgasport openingon burner.The distanceshouldbe 1/8"to 3/16".Adjustif necessary. •Cleanwireand/orelectrodewith rubbingalcoholand cleanswab. •Reconnecwt ires or replaceelectrode/wireassembly. •Replaceignitorwire/electrodeassembly. •Replacewith a newAA-sizealkalinebattery.
