When music types have been registered for the discs, it is 26 possible to enjoy playback of discs of the selected music type. Random playback for a selected music type also is possible. Preparation ÷ Load discs into the carousel. ÷ Register music type files. 0 ¢ ÷ Check that the Mechanism-A is in the normal play TRACK mode. # ÷ Set the Mechanism-A to stop mode. Listening to music by genre (MUSIC TYPE mode) CD-2280M/DPF-J9010 (En) : Keys and controls used in the operations described on this page. Playing the music type file (Mechanism-A only) 1 Activate the music type mode. 1 Press the MODE key. MODE ÷ When the MODE key is pressed during MUSIC TYPE mode, the MUSIC TYPE mode is cancelled. 2 Select "MUSIC TYPE". ∞ DISC SKIP 5 3 Set the input. SET Each press switches the modes as follows: 1 MUSIC TYPE 2 TITLE INPUT 3 ALL DATA READ 4 ALL INFORMATION 5 DTS ANALOG MUTE DISPLAY-A : The display flashes. MUSICITYPETNDOM 2 Select the music type. ∞ DISC SKIP 5 Previous file Next file 3 Start playback. 6 ÷ Press repeatedly until the desired music type is displayed. DISPLAY-A : When "Rock Music" is selected RockCMusicTNDOM ÷ Playback is performed in increasing order of the disc numbers they were registered for the respective music type. Skipping to the next disc is done when the ¢ key is pressed. ÷ If the disc to be played is being played in Mechanism-B, the disc will be skipped. ÷ Each time the CHECK key is pressed, the registered disc numbers are displayed in increasing order of the disc numbers. ÷ When the REPEAT key is pressed, playback of the music type file will be repeated. For random playback Press the RANDOM key. ÷ Select "RANDOM OFF" to quit random playback. For continuous playback Press the CONTINUOUS PLAY key. To quit MUSIC TYPE mode Press the MODE key.
