OTHER EXTERNAL COMPONENTS Using the external navigation unit You can connect a navigation unit (KNA-G630: optional accessory) to the NAV input terminal so that you can view the navigation screen. (Page 65) • The navigation guidance comes out of the front speakers even when you are listening to an audio source. ❏ Viewing the navigation screen On the Home screen: When receiving a call during navigation guidance (Only for DDX6016BT/DDX6016BTM/ DDX4016BT/DDX416BT/DDX416BTM/ DDX616WBT/DDX616WBTM) The screen is switched automatically. To return to the navigation screen, press [ ]. To exit the navigation screen On the monitor panel (only for DDX6016BT/ DDX6016BTM/DDX4016BT/DDX316/DDX316M/ DDX616WBT/DDX616WBTM): Press AV on the monitor panel. On the pop-up short-cut menu (Page 13): Display the pop-up short-cut menu by pressing MENU on the monitor panel, then select [Current Source]. • Only for DDX6016BT/DDX6016BTM/DDX4016BT/ DDX316/DDX316M/DDX616WBT/DDX616WBTM: You can also display the navigation screen by pressing AV on the monitor panel while listening to another source. • While the navigation screen is displayed, the touch panel operations are available only for navigation. • The aspect ratio of the navigation screen is fixed to regardless of the setting (Page 49). ❏ Settings for the navigation unit 1 Display the setting screen. On the Home screen: 2 Display the screen. 3 Select which front speakers are used for the navigation guidance. Adjust the volume of the navigation guidance. (0 to 35) Select [ON] to attenuate the sound coming out of speakers other than the front speakers during navigation guidance. • To cancel the attenuation, select [OFF]. Press [Enter] to display the setup screen for the navigation unit. See the instruction manual supplied for the navigation unit. 36

Adjust the volume of the
navigation guidance. (0 to 35)
<NAV Mute>
Select
[ON]
to attenuate the
sound coming out of speakers
other than the front speakers
during navigation guidance.

<NAV Setup>
Press
