Audio Adjustments Select the iPod Equalizer curve 1. Enter iPod Equalizer mode Press the [AUD] knob. 2. Select the iPod Equalizer curve Turn the [AUD] knob and push the center when the desired item is displayed. 3 Exit Preset Equalizer mode. Press the [ ] button. ⁄ • You can select for each source. Manual Equalizer Control You can adjust following Equalizer Control items; Adjustment Item Band level "BAND#" > "GAIN" Bass Effect* "BAND1">"EFFECT" Range -9 - 0 - +9 "OFF"/ "ON" • *Can be only set for "BAND1". 1 Enter Manual Equalizer Control mode Press [ ] 1 sec., and select "DSP" > "CONTROL" > "EQ" > "MANUAL". Press the [AUD] knob. • For how to select Function Control items, refer to (page 10). 2 Select the band you want to set Turn the [AUD] knob and push the center. "BAND1" - "BAND5" 3 Select the item you want to set Turn the [AUD] knob and push the center. 4 Set the value Turn the [AUD] knob and push the center when the desired item is displayed. 5 Exit Manual Equalizer Control mode Press the [ ] button twice. ⁄ • When "iPod" is selected in the section (page 25), Manual Equalizer Control is disabled. • You can select for each source. Position Control According to the listening position, select the position from the following settings so that the normal position of the sound environment can be compensated in accordance with the selected position; 26 | KDV-U4349/ KDV-U4349M/ KDV-U4449 Preset position "PRESET" Adjustment Item Display Not compensating. "ALL" Front-Left seat "F-LEFT" Adjustment Item Display Front-Right seat "F-RIGHT" Front seat "F-ALL" Manual position "MANUAL" Adjustment Item Front Left speaker Front Right speaker Rear Left speaker Rear Right speaker Display "F-LEFT" "F-RIGHT" "R-LEFT" "R-RIGHT" Adjustment Item Subwoofer Left Subwoofer Right Initialize the setting values. Display "SW-LEFT" "SW-RIGHT" "INITIAL" 1 Enter Preset position setting mode Press [ ] 1 sec., and select "DSP" > "CONTROL" > "POSITION" > "PRESET". Press the [AUD] knob. • For how to select Function Control items, refer to (page 10). 2 Select the seat you want to compensate Turn the [AUD] knob and push the center when the desired item is displayed. 3 Exit Preset position setting mode Press the [ ] button. You can fine-adjust your listening position. 1 Enter Manual position adjust mode Press [ ] 1 sec., and select "DSP" > "CONTROL" > "POSITION" > "MANUAL". Press the [AUD] knob. 2 Select the speaker you want to set Turn the [AUD] knob and push the center. ✍ Selecting "INITIAL" initializes the Manual position adjustment. 3 Set the value Turn the [AUD] knob and push the center when the desired value is displayed. Adjust between 0 and 170 cm. 4 Exit Manual position adjust mode Press the [ ] button twice. ⁄ • About the position setting First, set the using environment with (page 28). • When using the Subwoofer Left and Subwoofer Right as a single sub woofer, set the left side and right side to the same value.
