4. Secure the Music Keg to the mounting location with the four included self-tapping screws. Make sure the Music Keg is mounted such that the connector cable will reach with ample room. The Music Keg should be mounted to a flat, hard and stable surface, such as particle board or sheet metal. 5. With the DMS cartridge fully inserted, plug the cable into the back of the Music Keg. 6. You should see the red and green lights turn on. 7. About 5 seconds later, both lights should turn off and stay off. 8. Turn on your Kenwood car stereo. 9. Switch to CD changer mode on your Kenwood car stereo. 10. Wait for a "Welcome to the Kenwood Music Keg " message to play. You may have to wait up to 15 seconds for the Music Keg to boot. Listen to the entire message to learn how to use the Music Keg. 11. Congratulations! The Music Keg is installed and ready to be used. Turn off the stereo and remove the DMS cartridge.
