Appendix A: Updating the Firmware in your Kenwood Music Keg Your Kenwood Music Keg has firmware programmed inside of it. It has been already been setup from the factory to work with your Kenwood stereo. PhatNoise periodically releases updates to the firmware to improve operation of your Music Keg or to provide feature upgrades to Music Keg owners. A notice of firmware updates may appear on the Kenwood Music Keg website, or you may be contacted via the email address you registered with PhatNoise when you loaded your Music Manager Software onto your PC. In the event of a firmware update, follow these steps. 1. Insert the DMS cartridge into the USB Cradle. 2. Launch the Music Manager by double-clicking the icon on your desktop 3. Your Kenwood Music Keg has firmware programmed inside of it.
