English care and cleaning Cleaning the Food Processor Cut Hazard Handle blades carefully. Failure to do so can result in cuts. IMPORTANT: The BPA-free bowl requires special handling. If you choose to use a dishwasher instead of hand washing, please follow these guidelines. 1 Press the OFF Button, then unplug the Food Processor before cleaning. 2 Wipe the base and cord with a warm, sudsy cloth, and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Thoroughly dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. 3 All parts are top rack dishwasher safe. Avoid laying the bowl on its side. Thoroughly dry all parts after washing. Use gentle dishwashing cycles such as normal. Avoid high temperature cycles. NOTE: If washing the Food Processor parts by hand, avoid the use of abrasive cleansers or scouring pads. They may scratch or cloud the work bowl and cover. 4 To prevent damage to the locking system, always store the work bowl and work bowl cover in the unlocked position when not in use. Wrap the power cord around the work bowl, then secure the plug by clipping it to the cord. IMPORTANT: Once washed, disassembled discs should be stored in the provided storage case, in a location out of the reach of children. 19
