Taking pictures and videos Customizing your camera Use the Setup Menu to customize your camera settings. 1 Press the Menu button. 2 Press to highlight Setup Menu , then press the OK button. 3 Highlight the setting you wish to change, then press the OK button. 4 Choose an option, then press the OK button. 5 Press the Menu button to exit. NOTE: Some settings are unavailable in some modes. Setting Icon Return Return to previous menu. Options Liveview Set the camera screen on/off default. Press OK to manually turn the screen on or off (see page 10). This setting remains until you change it. Date & Time Set the date and time. This setting remains until you change it. Video Out Choose the regional setting that lets you connect the camera to a television or other external device. This setting remains until you change it. Orientation Sensor Orient pictures so they are displayed with the correct side up. On-camera screen is on whenever the camera is on. Off (default)-camera screen is off. See page 5. NTSC (default)-used in most countries except those in Europe and China. North America and Japan use NTSC. PAL-used in Europe and China. On (default) Off 18
