Taking pictures and videos Setting Icon Long Time Exposure Choose how long the shutter stays open. This setting remains until you change modes or turn off the camera. Image Storage Choose a storage location for pictures and videos. This setting remains until you change it. Set Album Choose Album names. Video Length Choose video duration. Setup Menu Choose additional settings. Options (unavailable as noted) None, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0, 16.0 seconds Leave the shutter open longer for low-light conditions. Use a tripod or steady surface. NOTE: Exposure Compensation is set to zero and ISO is set to Auto (ISO 100). Unavailable in Video and Scene modes (exception-available in Landscape). Auto (default)-the camera uses the card if one is in the camera. If not, the camera uses internal memory. Internal Memory-the camera always uses internal memory, even if a card is inserted. On or Off Pre-select album names before you take pictures or videos. Then, all the pictures or videos you take are tagged with those album names. See page 22. Unlimited (default)- as long as there is room on the card or internal memory, or until you press the Shutter button. 5, 15, or 30 seconds. See Customizing your camera. Customizing your camera Use Setup to customize your camera settings. 1 In any mode, press the Menu button. 2 Press to highlight Setup , then press the OK button. 3 Press to highlight the setting you wish to change, then press the OK button. 4 Choose an option, then press the OK button. 19
