Troubleshooting Picture quality problems If... Try one or more of the following Picture is too dark I Reposition camera for more available light. or underexposed I Use Fill flash (page 36) or change your position so light is not behind the subject. I Move so that the distance between you and the subject is within the effective flash range (page 11). I To automatically set exposure and focus, press the Shutter button halfway and hold. When the AE/AF indicator turns green, press the Shutter button completely down to take the picture. I Use P mode to adjust the Exposure and Flash Compensations (page 37).
