Service Mode ※Common to various models  Software DIPSW setting [Service Mode]-[System Setting]-[Software DIPSW Setting] DIPSW98-7 Auto Inspection range 0:Level１～7 1:Level1～10  Save Log [Service Mode]-[Save Log] Set the save log function for the purpose of trouble-shooting of UK-301. Care should be taken to the following when saving logs.  If SC/JAM occurs, save logs before turning the power OFF/ON and releasing the JAM error. Caution: If the power is turned OFF/ON, the logs will be erased and analysis of the error is made impossible.  If an error occurs when the printing is performed, stop the printing operation by pushing the STOP button, then save the log.  Continuing the printing after an error occurs renders logs unavailable, making analysis difficult. Do not touch the machine neither the control panel until "Save log" is completed. UK-301 Save Log Setting  Log auto-save destination/Log manual save destination: Select either [USB memory] or [HDD (default)].  Log auto-save destination/Log manual save: Select either [Yes] or [No]. Descriptions  When it is set to [Yes] for the log auto-save destination, the log will be automatically saved when SC is reported for UK-301.  When it is set to [Yes] for the log manual save, the log can be saved manually. Manual log save [Setup menu/Counter]-[System Info.]  [UK-301 Save log]:Only logs are saved.  [UK-301 Log+IQ image save]:Logs and images read by IQ are saved. Approving the save of read images When saving the images read by IQ-501, make sure that such action is approved by the user. [Setup menu/Counter]-[Administrator Setting][Security Setting]-[UK-301 Error image save permission setting]  Error image log save:[Allowed] Images can be saved. [Not allowed (default)] Images cannot be saved.  Image save setting:[Mask the image] Save the image with some part of the image being blackened out. Black area:Inside of the 1mm from the paper edge. Only the edge of the image is left without blackening. [Overall Image] Overall image is saved. 6

Save Log
[Service Mode]-[Save Log]
Set the save log function for the purpose of trouble-shooting of UK-301.
Care should be taken to the following when saving logs.
If SC/JAM occurs, save logs before turning the power OFF/ON and releasing the JAM error.
Caution± If the power is turned OFF/ON, the logs will be erased and analysis of the error is
made impossible.
If an error occurs when the printing is performed, stop the printing operation by pushing
the STOP button, then save the log.
Continuing the printing after an error occurs renders logs unavailable, making analysis
difficult.
Do not touch the machine neither the control panel until “Save log” is completed.
UK-301 Save Log Setting
Log auto-save destination/Log manual save destination± Select either [USB
memory] or [HDD (default)].
Log auto-save destination/Log manual save± Select either [Yes] or [No].
Descriptions
When it is set to [Yes] for the log auto-save destination, the log will be
automatically saved when SC is reported for UK-301.
When it is set to [Yes] for the log manual save, the log can be saved manually.
Manual log save
[Setup menu/Counter]-[System Info.]
[UK-301 Save log]:Only logs are saved.
[UK-301 Log+IQ image save]:Logs and images read by IQ are saved.
Approving the save of read images
When saving the images read by IQ-501, make sure that such action is approved by the
user.
