File Creation and Sending 4 Press the information button to check the file. The panel below then appears, and includes: - On the left: preview of the file such as it will be printed. - In the middle: file information (formats, colors, number of bits per pixel, file resolution, file size, file creation time and date, and finally a graph used to display all gray levels contained in the file). - On the right: the machine "cost calculator" used to determine the varnish price as functions of the volume to be printed and varnish thickness to be applied. A file is valid for printing when all the parameters of the information menu are black; should one item of information be red, please do not print this file, and refer to chapter 5: Troubleshooting. The "cost calculator" is a software program included in the user interface and used to calculate the actual varnish cost for a given file. The varnish liter currency and price parameters can be modified on request from the Engineering Department of your Dealer. Note: the price is given as a function of the varnish thickness deposited on a coverage rate given by the file. Finally, the total price is given as a function of the number of copies entered by the operator. 85
