3.1 User Authentication Function 3 from those in the PKI Encrypted Document User Box. For the detailed procedure to access the PKI Encrypted document, see page 3-4. 2 Enter the PIN code registered in the IC card from the 10-key pad. If the PIN code includes any character other than numerals, touch the keyboard icon in the [PIN] field. % Go to step 4 if the PIN code consists only of numerals. 3 Enter the PIN code from the keyboard or 10-key pad and touch [OK]. % Press the [C] key or touch [C] to clear all characters. % Touch [Delete] to delete the last character entered. % Touch [Shift] to show the upper case/symbol screen. % Touch [Cancel] to go back to the screen shown in step 2. 4 Touch [OK]. % The PKI Encrypted Document is automatically deleted as soon as the printing is normally terminated. % If a wrong PIN code is entered two or more consecutive times, the IC card is put into a locked state and becomes no longer valid for authentication. If the IC card is locked, contact the IC card administrator. This machine is not useful for unlocking the IC card. % If the IC card is locked, a message appears that tells that the IC card cannot be used.
