5.1 [System Settings] 5 [Output Settings] To display: [Utility] - [Administrator Settings] - [System Settings] - [Output Settings] Configure settings for output operations on this machine. Settings [Shift Output Each Job] [Paper Curl Adjustment] [Adjustment Conditions] [Adjustment Effect] [Letterhead Direction] Description Select whether or not to shift paper for each job before ejection. [ON] is specified by default. Note This function is only available when bizhub C3850FS is used. Corrects paper curls to smoothly output paper to the processing tray. A correction operation may extend printing time. This function is available when the following types of paper are used for printing. • 1-sided printing: Plain paper, recycled paper, 1-sided special paper, special paper, colored paper, letterheads, user paper 1, user paper 2 • 2-sided printing: Plain paper, recycled paper, user paper 1, user paper 2 Note This function is only available when bizhub C3850FS is used. Select whether or not to correct paper curls. • [Do not adjust]: Disables a correction. • [Adjust when High Humidity/Temp is detected]: Performs a correction when the high-temperature and humidity status is detected in the main unit. • [Always adjust]: Always performs a correction. [Do not adjust] is specified by default. Select the intensity to correct paper curls. [Small] is specified by default. Select the edge that is set in the paper feed port side of the tray when letterheads are loaded in portrait orientation into a tray. • [Align Trail Edge]: Load letterheads in portrait orientation so that their trail- ing edges are set in the paper feed port side of the tray. • [Align Leading Edge]: Load letterheads in portrait orientation so that their leading edges are set in the paper feed port side of the tray. [Align Trail Edge] is specified by default. For details on how to load letterheads into a tray, refer to Chapter 6 "Loading Paper" in [User's Guide: Introduction]. Select whether or not to shift paper for each job before ejection.

[ON] is specified by default.

This function is only available when

bizhub C3850FS

is used.

[Paper Curl Adjustment]

Corrects paper curls to smoothly output paper to the processing tray. A cor-

rection operation may extend printing time.

This function is available when the following types of paper are used for print-

ing.

•

1-sided printing: Plain paper, recycled paper, 1-sided special paper, spe-

cial paper, colored paper, letterheads, user paper 1, user paper 2

•

2-sided printing: Plain paper, recycled paper, user paper 1, user paper 2

This function is only available when

bizhub C3850FS

is used.

[Adjustment Condi-

tions]

Select whether or not to correct paper curls.

•

[Do not adjust]: Disables a correction.

•

[Adjust when High Humidity/Temp is detected]: Performs a correction
