Installs KMnet Viewer when the machine is connected to your computer by a network cable. ❖ Utilities Installs KMnet Viewer. Note ❒ If you install the PCL printer driver using Express Mode, only the PCL 6 printer driver will be installed. Use Custom Mode to install the PCL 5 printer driver. ❒ Express Mode does not install the fax driver. Install the fax driver separately. Express Mode This section explains how to install the PCL printer and scanner drivers for USB and network connections using Express Mode. Important ❒ The procedure in this section is an example based on Windows XP. The actual procedure might vary depending on the operating system you are using. ❒ To install the drivers, you must have an account that has Manage Printers permission. Log on as an Administrators or Power Users group member to acquire this permission. ❒ Before beginning this procedure, you must assign the IP address on the machine. For details about assigning the machine's IP address, see User Guide in the CD-ROM. Use this procedure to install the drivers using Express Mode. A Ensure that this machine and your computer are turned on and connected by a USB or network cable. If the "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box appears, click [Cancel].
