4 MONITORING DEVICE STATUS Checking Device Status You can check the printer status on the Printer Image and the Printer Information areas. These two areas show icons that represent the device status when the printer encounters an error. Although Document Monitor enjoys periodic update, you can also update the information manually. For information on resolving the error condition, refer to "Replacing a Toner Cartridge" in Troubleshooting Guide. y Printer Error 2 This icon indicates: - You need to remove paper from the receiving tray. - You need to remove paper from the Finisher tray. - You need to remove the staples jammed in the Finisher. For information on resolving the error condition, refer to "Staple Jam in the Finisher" in Troubleshooting Guide. - You need to remove the staples jammed in the Saddle Stitch unit.
