DVD OPERATION DVD OPERATION PLAYING A DVD OR VIDEO CD Basic Playback 1 POWER Turn TV on. 2 Slide your chosen disc into the disc slot on the side panel. Be sure to face the top of the disc (with title etc.) toward the front of the screen. Playback starts. I If there are scratches on the DVD or CD Disc, then it may happen the kind of the mechanical noise a little. Stop Playback/Ejection 1 Stop playback. At this time, DVD/VCD player stops playback temporarily and maintains the current playback position.(At this time, if you press p l a y button, Playback will resume from the location where you stopped playback.) 2 Press this button again to stop playback fully. (At this time, if you press play button, disc playback start from the beginning.) 3 EJECT Remove the disc. The Disc will come out halfway. I If you have a disc problem during playback, remove the disc by pressing and holding down the button on the side panel for 5 seconds. The Disc will come out completely. After that, turn the TV off and then on again. Pause Playback (Still Mode) 1 Press this button during playback. Fast Forward/Backward 1 Press this button during playback. Select the required speed: X2, X4, X8, X16 or X32 (backward/ 2 forward). Return to normal playback. Slow Motion 1SLOW 2 SLOW + Press this button during playback. Select the required speed: F I 1/2, F I 1/4, F I 1/8, F I 1/16 (backward), or I G 1/2, I G1/4, I G 1/8, I G 1/16 (forward). Return to normal playback. I There is no sound during fast or slow playback for DVDs or Video CDs. I Slow motion playback in reverse is not possible with Video CDs. Skip a Chapter/Track 1SKIP - SKIP + Press it briefly during playback to select the next chapter/track or to return to the beginning of the current chapter/track.
