- PICTURE IMPROVEMENT TECHNOLOGY XD is LG electronic's unique picture improving technology to display a real HD source through an advanced digital signal processing algorithm. It is not possible to use this function in RGB/HDMI-PC mode. A XD Contrast : Optimises the contract automatically according to the brightness of the reflection. A XD Colour : Adjusts the colour of the reflection automatically to reproduce as close as possible to natural colours. A XD NR : Removes interference up to the point where it does not damage the original picture.
