Using Phone Menus Message Icon Reference Icons Sent Descriptions Messages sent in Short Message Center (SMC) have been transmitted. Fail Indicates a failed message transmission. Delivery Message has been delivered. Lock Indicates that the message is locked. Multisending Indicates more than one designated recipient. Transmission is unavailable in a no service area or in Pending an analog service area. Messages are pending transmission. Pending messages are transmitted automatically when digital mode becomes available. Inbox (Menu ) The phone alerts you in 3 ways when you receive a new message by: G Displaying a message notification on the screen. G Sounding a beep, vibrating or sound, if set. G Displaying the message icon . It blinks when the message is urgent. Received text messages, page messages, and e-mail lists may be searched and the contents viewed. Inbox (Menu
)
The phone alerts you in 3 ways when you receive a new
message by:

Displaying a message notification on the screen.

Sounding a beep, vibrating or sound, if set.

Displaying the message icon
. It blinks when the message
is urgent.
Received text messages, page messages, and e-mail lists may
be searched and the contents viewed. Received messages are
displayed from newest to oldest.
Messages sent in Short Message Center

transmission. Pending messages are transmitted
