4. LG Network Storage Web Menu Use (for LG Network Storage administrators) ③ The source path refers to the location the multimedia data is currently saved. In order to utilize the multimedia data through DLNA, locations of the saved data must be determined. DLNA service will only be applicable to pre-set DLNA source folders. ④ To activate, please press the "apply" button. To deactivate, please select "Do not apply" and press the "apply" button. Incompatible file formats may not run properly. ③ Formats incompatible with the Digital Media Player, such as TV, may not run properly even if they were compatible with LG Network Storage. The source path refers to the location the multimedia data is currently saved.
In order to utilize the multimedia data through DLNA, locations of the saved
data must be determined. DLNA service will only be applicable to pre-set DLNA
source folders.
To activate, please
press the “apply” button. To deactivate, please select “Do
not apply” and press the “apply” button.

Multimedia data in LG Network Storage may be read, written and shared through the
network.
① Run Internet Explorer.
② Copy the multimedia file in service\DLNA.
♣ Note
Do not delete the selected source path (default: \service\DLNA). This may
terminate the multimedia sharing.
Use compatible multimedia file formats. Incompatible file formats may not run
properly.
Formats incompatible with the Digital Media Player, such as TV, may not run
properly even if they were compatible with LG Network Storage.

Using DLNA of a PC with Microsoft® Windowsµ®
Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Add a device.
② Once LG Network Storage is selected, click Next and recognize device.
③ Run Windows Media Center or Windows Media Player.
The multimedia data saved in LG Network Storage may be viewed by selecting
LG Media Server under Library.

For detailed instructions on Windows Media® Player 11, refer to the Help
function of Windows Media® Player 11.
