Uninstalling apps Uninstall apps that you no longer use from your device. Uninstalling with the touch and hold gesture Touch and hold any empty area of the Home screen, and then tap of the app you want to delete. • Uninstalled apps can be reinstalled within 24 hours of uninstallation. See App trash for details. Uninstalling by using the settings menu On the home screen, tap Settings Apps App info, select an app, then tap Uninstall. • Some apps cannot be uninstalled by users.
