Receiving Calls 1. When the phone rings or vibrates, press to answer. NOTE If you press Left Soft Key [Quiet] while the phone is ringing, the ringing or vibration is muted for that call. NOTE If you press Right Soft Key [Ignore] while the phone is ringing, the call will end. 2. Press to end the call. Screen Icons When the phone is powered on, the top line of the LCD screen displays icons indicating the status of the phone. Signal Strength indicator. The strength of the signal received by the phone is indicated by the number of bars displayed. In use indicator. A call is in progress. * No icon indicates the phone is in standby mode. No Service indicator. The phone is not receiving a system signal. Digital indicator. Digital service is available. Roaming indicator. The phone is outside of the home service area. Battery indicator.
