12 3. Setting Up Your LaCie electron22blueIV Monitor 3.1 AC Power Connection The monitor's auto-sensing power supply can automatically detect 100-120V AC or 220-240V AC, and 50Hz or 60Hz. Attach the female end of the supplied power cable into the AC power connector on the back of the monitor, and the male end into a properlygrounded, three-prong AC outlet. 3.2 Signal Cable Connection 3.2.1 Mac Users Important Note: Some Macs may require the use of an adapter to connect the monitor to your Mac. Please contact your reseller or LaCie Technical Support for an appropriate adapter. 1) Turn off the power to your computer. 2) If you do not already have a graphics card installed, you will need to have one installed prior to installation. Please refer to your graphics card installation manual for more information. 3) Connect the cable adapter (if necessary) to the monitor connector on the Mac.

Monitor
3.1 AC Power Connection
The monitor’s auto-sensing power supply can automatically detect 100-120V
AC or 220-240V AC, and 50Hz or 60Hz.
Attach the female end of the supplied power cable into the AC power
connector on the back of the monitor, and the male end into a properly-
grounded, three-prong AC outlet.
3.2 Signal Cable Connection
3.2.1 Mac Users
