LED Indicators Front LED Color Solid blue d2 Quadra is working properly d2 Quadra State Blinking blue d2 Quadra is starting up; also indicates normal drive activity Dimming blue (5s)* The d2 Quadra is in standby mode. If the power switch is set to "auto" the d2 Quadra will enter standby when your computer is either off or in standby. Solid red The drive has failed; d2 Quadra not functional Blinking blue/red Dimming red (5s)* Temperature alert; allow the d2 to finish current processes and then shut it down. Make sure the ventilation holes on the back of the d2 are not obstructed and that there is ample room for airflow around the unit. Allow the d2 to cool before turning it back on. Temperature critical; system remains in standby mode until temperature reaches acceptable levels Off The d2 is not receiving power or system failure or electronic board failure; contact LaCie customer support * LED dims for 5 seconds and then remains at a low intensity.

3. Troubleshooting
3.1. LED Indicators
Front LED Color
d2 Quadra State
Solid blue
d2 Quadra is working properly
Blinking blue
d2 Quadra is starting up; also indicates normal drive activity
Dimming blue (5s)*
The d2 Quadra is in standby mode. If the power switch is set to “auto” the d2 Quadra will enter standby when your
computer is either off or in standby.
Solid red
The drive has failed; d2 Quadra not functional
