The mask is applied to target IP addresses to determine whether the destination address is on the local network segment. If it is not, the Server's gateway host will be accessed to provide the connection. was configured. The mask is applied to target IP addresses to determine whether the destination address is
on the local network segment. If it is not, the Server’s gateway host will be accessed to provide the
connection.
