3: Installation This chapter provides a high-level procedure for installing the SLC advanced console manager followed by more detailed information about the SLC connections and power supplies. Caution: To avoid physical and electrical hazards, please read appendix, Appendix A: Security Considerations on page 338 before installing the SLC 8000 advanced console manager. What's in the Box In addition to the SLC 8000 unit, the following table lists components in the box and their corresponding part numbers.
