Chapter 1. Getting to know your computer The following describes the features of each function key. Fn + Esc: Windows 7: Opens the camera and audio settings window. The camera preview is turned on, and you can change the camera and audio settings as desired. Windows 8.1: Enables/disables the camera. Fn + F1: Enter sleep mode. Fn + F2: Turns on/off the backlight of the display. Fn + F3: Switches between the computer display and an external monitor. Works in the same way as the Windows key + P combination. Fn + F5: Open the interface for integrated wireless devices settings (on/off). Fn + F6: Enables/disables the touch pad and the touch pad buttons. Fn + F8: Enables/disables the numeric keypad.
