3. Install the new PCI adapter card into the same slot on the system board. 4. Ensure the new PCI adapter card is fully seated into the PCI adapter card slot. 5. At the rear of the computer, pivot the PCI adapter card latch to the closed position to secure the PCI adapter card. 6. Go to "Completing the FRU replacement" on page 114. Important When a new hard disk drive is installed, a set of Product Recovery discs might be required. The set of Product Recovery discs enable the contents of the hard disk to be restored to the same state as when the computer was originally shipped from the factory. For more information on recovering factory-installed software, refer to ″Recovering Software″ in the User Guide. To replace the hard disk drive: 1. Remove the computer cover.
